Small Times publishes content from a variety of sources, including stories written by Small Times staff and professional freelance journalists as well as by guest contributors from industry.
The publication is targeted toward readers involved in micro and nanotech commercialization. This includes people in both technical and business roles. To address this audience, our coverage spans research, industrial R&D and product development as well as finance, intellectual property, economic development and other issues related to commercial micro and nanotech.
We cover the sector both online and in print and strive to take advantage of each medium's strengths. Our online coverage is focused on getting the news out, and therefore tends to feature shorter stories that provide critical industry information on a timely basis as well as some initial analysis. The magazine coverage is focused on aggregating and analyzing the news. It brings all the recent news together for a quick intelligence briefing and features longer stories that take deeper dives into industry trends and developments to bring our readers the bigger picture.
Content published in the print magazine is later archived on our Web site. However, we do not take content that was initially published online and then later run it in print.
